If you did not buy your domain name through HostKarma.com or a HostKarma reseller, then you probably will have been assigned a temporary URL like the following:
http://yourdomain.com.a4.aicdns.com/
Once you are finished constructing your new website using the temporary URL and you are ready to go live, you will need to set your domain nameservers to the following:
- ns1.aicdns.com
- ns2.aicdns.com
Setting your nameservers is something you do through your registrar. Your registrar is the place where you bought your domain, e.g. Network Solutions or GoDaddy. In some cases you may need to contact your registrar or your current hosting provider to get a username and password before you can make the changes.
Every registrar has a different interface for changing nameservers, so it is not possible to provide specific instructions for this. If you need help, contact your hosting provider for assistance.
Nameserver changes can take up to 24 hours to go into effect, though in practice it usually does not take more than 4 hours. Once the nameserver have been changed, you will be able to access your website the normal way, using:
http://yourdomain.com/
You will also be able to access your Admin Area using:
http://yourdomain.com/!/admin
